The Graduate Student Career Pathways Program at Rutgers University—New Brunswick  is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to supporting Doctoral and Master’s students in their academic and professional journeys. 

The 4WARD Career Pathways Program is a specialized and impactful multi-year experience specifically tailored for first-generation undergraduate students and others coming to Rutgers-New Brunswick without a well- established career network.

The Career Portrait Lounge is a self-service photography studio for Rutgers University-New Brunswick students.

The Career Closet of Rutgers-New Brunswick empowers students to step confidently into their careers. Managed by the Office of Career Exploration and Success, it offers new and gently used professional attire, helping students make strong impressions at interviews, internships, and career fairs.

Rutgers Scarlet Service Internship (RSSI) Program provides select students from Rutgers-Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick with an opportunity to earn up to $5,000 while interning for a minimum of 150-hours in no less than 10-12 weeks during the summer at a public service non-profit organization or direct-service government office.

Students who have an unpaid internships at a for-profit organization may be eligible for a stipend through the Bright Futures Internship Stipend!

The Asian American Cultural Center works to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students at Rutgers University and community partners by providing programs and initiatives focused on issues relevant to the Asian Pacific Islander Desi Arab (APIDA) community. The AACC offers a myriad of social, cultural, and educational opportunities to contextualize, highlight, promote, and critically examine the unique histories, traditions and cultural identities within the APIDA diaspora.

The BOLD Career Center for Leadership, Career, and Personal Development @ Douglass Residential College offers transformative programs in leadership development, mentorship, career readiness, and personal growth. Douglass Residential College is an empowering, tight-knit community within Rutgers that enhances the college experience for all majors by adding a feminist lens to your education.

The Rutgers Center For Adult Autism Services (RCAAS) offers adults on the autism spectrum one-of-a-kind support programs that make an independent and fulfilling life possible. Simultaneously, it advances research and ensures that each year, our graduates leave Rutgers prepared to enter careers in support of this underserved population. From vocational training to academic support, social support and clinical services, the Center equips those it serves with the tools needed to enhance and maintain autonomy.

The Center for Latino Arts and Culture is a student-centered, inclusive community where students can better integrate experiential, academic and service learning about Latinx/a/o arts and culture in order to become strong leaders and responsible global citizens.

The Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities (SJE) promotes a supportive environment for students of all backgrounds, with a focus on gender and sexuality, while promoting both social and educational opportunities for leadership, identity, and social justice advocacy development, with a critical understanding of multiple identities and connected systems of oppression

The Office of Disability Services provides reasonable academic accommodations for students with disabilities. The Office of Veteran and Military Programs and Services (OVMPS) at Rutgers University works to provide an inclusive and supportive environment for our military affiliated community. The Paul Robeson Cultural Center works to foster community in a way that involves everyone in educational, cultural, and social programs and services that facilitate learning and engagement. We are committed to reflecting on the experiences of historically underrepresented students, with an emphasis on students of the African diaspora, to help one another process, navigate, heal and advance within society and the university community.

The McNair Scholars Program is a federally funded initiative established in memory of physicist and Challenger Astronaut Ronald E. McNair. It was created to help prepare undergraduates for their doctoral studies by providing necessary research and scholarly activities.

Rutgers Global-International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is committed to providing superior services and enriching experiences for our international community. We are here to support the journeys of our international students and scholars, from arrival to graduation/completion and beyond. Our core services include immigration advising and compliance, application processing, academic and career support, and a range of programming, advocacy, and outreach.

The Educational Opportunity Fund program provides pathways to higher education for students who demonstrate the potential to succeed in college, and possess a high level of academic motivation, who qualify for admission on the basis of academic and financial need. EOF Scholars receive a grant that is part of their financial aid package and participate in a range of programs designed to support their success in college, including 1:1 academic/personal counseling.

The SEBS Office of Global Engagement (OGE) is committed to offering opportunities to our faculty, staff, and students to participate in global programming offered at the university. We further engage with our global community through outreach including hosting international scholars, supporting partnerships across the academic and professional communities, and engaging with alumni.

THRIVE Student Support Services is a federally funded program designed to increase the retention and graduation rates of first-generation and low-income students. In addition, THRIVE SSS is charged with supporting students' academic development, increasing financial literacy, and assisting with post-graduate planning.
