What is an "Employee Resource Group" (ERG)?
An Employee Resource Group (ERG) is a voluntary, employee-led group based on shared characteristics or interests, providing support, networking, career development, and a collective voice to foster a sense of belonging, while also advising companies on market insights and business strategy. They build community, offer professional growth through workshops and mentoring, and help companies attract talent and understand customer bases, boosting engagement and retention.
