What is a #MegaFastPass?

The #MegaFastPass is a digital pass that enables you to skip the registration line at the Spring 2023 Career and Internship Mega Fair. Plus, it also grants you early admittance at 10:30 AM into the fair. The #MegaFastPass is valid for each day of the fair, including Thursday, February 16 and Friday, February 17.

How Do I Receive a #MegaFastPass?

Properly prepare for the fair with our designated career prep tools and resources available for Rutgers University–New Brunswick students and alumni. By utilizing these resources and attending these specialized events you can earn a #MegaFastPass.

How Do I Present my #MegaFastPass?

If you receive a #MegaFastPass for attending one of our fair preparation events, login to your Rutgers Handshake account, select Career Center, select Resources, and the #MegaFastPass should appear if earned. Please show this pass when skipping the line at registration, or you can enter the fair 30-minutes early at 10:30 AM. You must present this digital pass (either printed or on your mobile device) upon check-in to skip the line or to take advantage of early admittance. Please note there will be a designated line just for #MegaFastPass holders.

Fair-Employer

OVERVIEW:

Our fair is open to students and alumni from all disciplines at Rutgers University (New Brunswick, Camden, Newark, and RBHS) and 230+ employers enabling you to connect and discuss full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.

Each day, the fair will be segmented by organizations recruiting for technical (i.e., science, technology, engineering, computer science, health), non-technical (i.e., business, arts, communications, education, etc.), and both technical and non-technical positions.

Candidates are welcomed and encouraged to attend both days—as both Thursday and Friday offer a wide variety of employer engagement opportunities.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Candidate registration opens on December, 1, 2022:

  • Current Rutgers University Students: Students can pre-register by logging in to their Rutgers Handshake account. Pre-registration is preferred but not required, walk-ins are welcome.
  • Alumni of Rutgers University RU-NB Alumni: Alumni can pre-register by logging in to their Rutgers Handshake account. Pre-registration is preferred but not required, walk-ins are welcome.

IMPORTANT NOTES & HELPFUL TIPS:

  • Registration for employers is an on-going process. Please check back often to see which new employers have registered.
  • This will be a paperless event and employer lists will be accessible online. We will not have paper listings of employers at the fair.
  • We encourage candidates to bring their mobile devices to the event and scan our QR code signage for a fair map and directory.
  • We encourage Rutgers University-New Brunswick students and alumni to download the Rutgers Handshake mobile app (available in both Google Play and the Apple Store) for the most up-to-date fair information and list of employers.
  • Attendance at our fair preparation events listed above grants you access to the #MEGAFASTPASS — a digital pass that enables you to skip the registration line at the fair. More information about these events will be available in January.
  • Attendance at our fair preparation events listed above and at the fair itself earns you stamps towards the Spring 2023 #Rutgersworks Free Tuition Challenge.
