Here at Career Exploration and Success, we provide career-related advising, resources, and programs to help individuals discover their interests, values, and skills, explore careers & academic pathways, develop skills through internships and experiential opportunities, and pursue their post-graduate goals.
At Career Exploration and Success, we know how hard Rutgers students work! That's why we are the only office on campus that raffles off free tuition and other cool prizes to students who participate in our challenge.
Our trained team can assist eligible students and alumni through career advising sessions. Prior to utilizing in-person services, consider the library of online career tools acquired by Career Exploration and Success.
Our career advisors are available to assist eligible Rutgers University–New Brunswick students and recent alumni (within one year of graduation) with a range of career-related concerns on an individual basis, including:
The number of advising appointments varies depending on student needs. During peak times, CES may limit appointments per student to ensure fair access. Advisors may also discontinue advising if a student is non-compliant or needs support beyond CES’s scope, referring them to appropriate Rutgers resources, if available.
Stop by during our drop-in advising hours for help with resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, or post-graduation planning. All students are welcome—start your career journey with us today!
