Simran Basit

Simran Basit is an international student currently pursuing a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies at Rutgers University. She works as a Graduate Coordinator for Strategic Outreach and Design. In this role, she supports the department’s communications and engagement initiatives by developing creative digital content, managing outreach projects, and designing materials that strengthen our brand and connect with the university community.

With over three years of experience in social media marketing, content strategy, and copywriting, she brings a creative and strategic approach to every project she takes on. She enjoys collaborating across teams to craft engaging campaigns, enhance visual communication, and ensure the outreach efforts align with the institutional goals. Her passion lies in storytelling and design, and she is committed to utilizing these skills to foster meaningful connections and create a lasting impact through her work at Rutgers.
