Bridget Doherty

As a Graduate Coordinator for the Rutgers Scarlet Service Internship (RSSI) Program, Bridget supports the overall program planning and initiatives, while further assisting with administrative aspects of the program to actively engage students in impactful internships and public service.

Before Rutgers, Bridget earned two Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from University of Rhode Island. Bridget has previous experience in the non-profit sector as a Case Manager.

Currently, Bridget is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management at Rutgers University, and plans to obtain a Data Analytics Certification as well. One piece of advice she would give to students is to be open to stepping outside your comfort zone both academically & professionally, to learn new concepts, develop different skills, and meet new people along the way.
