Kaitlyn Weiss

Selected as the NJC3 2023 Practitioner of the Year, Kaitlyn leads the Strategic Outreach and Marketing team to develop engagement strategies for students, alumni, employers, and campus partners. This team effectively builds awareness of all Career Exploration and Success initiatives, programs, events, and services to help students and alumni connect with resources to increase their career success. Kaitlyn has also led Rutgers University teams as the Associate Director of Marketing for Student Engagement for the division of Student Affairs and the Assistant Director of Multimedia Production for the Rutgers University Alumni Association.

Kaitlyn attended the University of Rhode Island and earned an undergraduate degree in film media. She then enrolled in the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information to earn a master’s degree in digital media.

William Jones, Career Exploration and Success Executive Director, states that “Students must be aware of our resources for us to assist them in meeting their post-graduation goals. Kait has been instrumental in our efforts to connect with the broad student population. Initially coming from a background outside of career services, she brings a unique perspective to our outreach programs and has actively become a leader within the career services community both locally and nationally. I am ecstatic that the field continues recognizing her work to propel career services forward!”
