RWJ Barnabas Health Medical Scribe Virtual Info Session

RWJ Barnabas Health currently employs over 400 medical scribes at 12 Emergency Department and Hospitalist sites in New Jersey.  During our virtual event on 6/3/24, members of our scribe leadership team will present on the positions we have available. 

Our scribes are hard-working, focused, and reliable individuals who work in fast-paced environments requiring high level attention to detail. The vast majority of our applicants are prospective medical school, PA school, MHA and nursing school students. We are looking to hire students who are looking to work in a healthcare setting, develop valuable skills, and gain direct experience working with clinicians. 

The Medical Scribe provides Emergency and Hospitalist Medicine Department clinicians with documentation assistance and follow-up on diagnostics/consults/orders, etc. This assistance is crucial in providing clinicians additional time to directly speak to and consult with patients. This is a great opportunity for entry level healthcare professionals to build on medical knowledge and gain invaluable clinical exposure in working alongside numerous MDs, NPs, and PAs.
