As you know the landscape for young professionals entering the Education workforce has drastically changed over the last few years.  Questions we are hearing from graduates are:

• What is a two-way interview?  How do I interview the district?


• Do I wait for another offer?  How do I compare total compensation and competing offers?


• How do I know that the mentoring/coaching and support I will need is really offered at X district?


• How and when do I decline an offer without “burning a bridge”?

 Governor Mifflin School District has decided to host a RECRUITMENT FREE workshop for all recent and soon to be graduates entering the K-12 education race!  This includes speech pathologists, certified school nurses, school psychologists, school social workers, Teachers in all areas of certification.

Recruitment free is exactly that – there will be no recruiting efforts by GMSD staff or any other districts or agencies permitted.  This invitation is for Seniors, soon to be graduates, and recent graduates from any college/university with a degree in education or related services (school- based psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, etc.).
