Assistant Director, First-Year Career Engagement

As Assistant Director of First-Year Career Engagement, Jess manages the First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS) program, including administering FIGS courses and supervising Peer Instructors and student staff.

Before joining the FIGS team, Jess spent 11 years in various roles at Princeton University, supporting undergraduate students' personal and professional growth through experiential learning opportunities and co-curricular social experiences.

Jess's academic journey is marked by her intellectual curiosity and dedication. She earned her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Near Eastern Studies & the History of Art, and minoring in Museums and Society. She furthered her studies with an M.A. in Museum Studies from New York University.

"Successes require failures. How you recover from those experiences and what you take away from them are what builds resilience and confidence. Be brave -- you are capable of so much, and college is full of opportunities for exploration!"
