Jennifer Broyles

I currently serve as the Director of Career Readiness providing senior-level oversight to our credit-bearing programs including the Rutgers Internship & Co-op Course (RICC) and the Rutgers Scarlet Service Initiative (RSSI). Additionally, I am responsible for the strategic direction of the Career Interest Communities while directly liaising with two Communities including Management, Operations, HR & Finance; Sales, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. I also provide individual career advising and coordinate relevant career programming.

Prior to my current role at Rutgers I served as an Assistant Director and Career Counselor at The College of New Jersey. Previous to this I spent 12 years at Rutgers first as a Career Counselor and then in a leadership capacity as the Director of Career Development & Experiential Education and the Director of Career Education and Engagement. I have 15+ years of experience in higher education consisting of career counseling/advising, academic outreach, alumni engagement, internship/co-op program administration, and program/curriculum development. Key strengths of mine include organizational and leadership skills, community building within teams, collaboration with academic units, programming/outreach, individual career advising, and alumni/employer engagement. 

I hold a Master's degree in Student Personnel Services from Rowan University and a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University, Douglass College in Communication & Psychology.
