Assistant Director, Rutgers Scarlet Service Internship Program
As Assistant Director of the Rutgers Scarlet Service Internship (RSSI) Program, I oversee university-wide experiential education programming that provides paid opportunities for students to have meaningful internship experiences in public service and expand their knowledge and skills to engage as active citizens.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from the Rutgers School of Social Work in 2020 with a focus in Management and Policy. Prior to joining Rutgers, I worked in the nonprofit sector for more than six years in internship program development, human resource management, and program coordination.
My advice to students is to try things that excite and interest you — maybe it's a course, a club, an internship, or volunteer opportunity. You might be surprised to learn something new about yourself or it might lead you in an entirely different direction!
