Career Readiness Coordinator

Gina serves as the Career Readiness Coordinator, supporting the Rutgers Internship and Co-Op Course and providing advising for students navigating their academic and career journeys.

With 10+ years of experience working in higher education, Gina previously held positions as a Graduate Coordinator and Instructor for the First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS) Program at Rutgers-New Brunswick, and as the First-Year Experience (FYE) Program Coordinator at CSU, Chico.

Gina is a first-generation college graduate with a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Her doctoral research focused on exploring the intersections of learning, identity, and belonging, with a particular emphasis on first-year and first-generation college students’ development. She earned her B.A and M.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Chico.
