Unpacking Study Abroad Experiences for Future Career Success

This is a virtual “unpacking” workshop specifically for students who have recently returned from their study abroad experience. In this workshop, students will reflect on skills gained through academics, research, work, and other aspects of living and studying abroad. We will begin with a discussion on the eight career competencies outlined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) as most important for new professionals entering the workforce. Students will be able to connect their acquired skills/experiences and translate them to their future resumes and interviews using the NACE framework. This workshop is being offered one week prior to our four-day Rutgers Career Exploration and Success fall career and internship fair to assist students with effectively highlighting the wonderful study abroad opportunities they have had.
