University of Chicago STEM PhD Personal Statement Workshop (Day 1 of 2)

If you’re interested in a STEM PhD and want help revising your personal statement, this workshop is for you! We will have students from across the University of Chicago’s Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Molecular Engineering Divisions available to share their insights into the application process and read through parts of your statement. They will help you craft a narrative that highlights your academic rigor and potential to thrive in graduate school.

 

Who: all prospective STEM PhD students

What you'll get:


  • Meet the Deans from the University of Chicago’s Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Molecular Engineering Divisions 

  • 15-minute, 1:1 feedback session with current UChicago PhD students

  • Q&A sessions with current UChicago PhD students

  • Application fee waiver

When: October 6 & 7 from 4:30-6:30 PM (CST) (only sign up for 1 session)

Where: Zoom (link will be shared on October 5th)
