Join a conversation with Capital Fellows alumni and the Asian Pacific Islander Capitol Association (APICA) to learn about the Capital Fellows programs. 

The Capital Fellows Programs offer a paid ($4888 per month), full-time fellowship (10–11 months) in California’s Legislative, Executive, or Judicial Branch. Fellows gain:


  • Hands-on experience in state government

  • Intensive training and professional development

  • A dedicated mentor to support your growth

  • Health, vision, and dental benefits

The Capital Fellows Programs are nationally recognized and a proven path to leadership in public service. Whether you're interested in policy, law, or exploring career options, the Capital Fellows experience is designed to prepare you for a successful career. You can apply to one or more of the four fellowship programs:



  1. The Assembly Fellowship Program 


  2. The Executive Fellowship Program 


  3. The Judicial Fellowship Program 


  4. The Senate Fellowship Program
