Funding Overview

CES partners with student organizations to expand access to career-related programs, networking opportunities, and skill-building experiences across campus. Through this funding opportunity, student organizations can receive financial support to enhance events that connect students to meaningful career pathways.

This initiative is part of Rutgers’ broader effort to build a career-ready campus through shared responsibility and partnership.

What You Can Receive

  • Up to $2,000 per event

  • Event Window: 2025–2026 academic year

Eligibility & Partnership Expectations

To Qualify, Organizations Must:

  • Organization must have an active SABO number and be in good standing with the univeristy
  • Include CES as an official co-sponsor
    (CES logo included on all marketing materials, flyers, websites, emails, and social media posts)
  • Provide time for a brief welcome from a CES representative

What We're Looking For

We prioritize programs that create meaningful career connections and align with one or more phases of Rutgers’ Career Journey Model while supporting skill development through the NACE Career Readiness Competencies.

  • Large-scale programs
  • Connect students with industry professionals or alumni
  • Support career exploration or preparation
  • Align with specific career communities or industries
  • Demonstrate collaboration with campus partners or student populations

Explicit recruiting events, such as career fairs, are not eligible for funding.
