SEE Spring Boot Camp: Career Readiness Accelerator (In-Person)
As part of the SEE pilot, you will attend one SEE Spring Boot Camp: Career Readiness Accelerator session, a paid professional development opportunity endorsed by your student employment supervisor.
This 2.5-hour SEE Spring Boot Camp: Career Readiness Accelerator session is designed to help Rutgers student employees turn their on-campus work experience into a strong, employer-ready story. You will learn how to showcase your SEE experience using NACE career readiness competencies so you can compete for internships, research roles, and entry-level opportunities.
What You Will Learn and Do
You will leave with:
- A stronger resume that highlights impact, skills, and results from your student employment
- An improved LinkedIn profile that supports your internship and job search goals
- Practice answering common interview questions using a clear, structured method
- A simple strategy for articulating your skills through NACE career readiness competencies
- Action steps and a personal checklist to keep your momentum going after the boot camp
Great fit for you if you:
- Are applying (or plan to apply) for internships, research positions, or jobs this semester
- Want to strengthen how you describe your student employment experience to employers
- Need a structured push to update your resume and LinkedIn
- Want to build confidence and clarity before interviews and career fairs
How to prepare
Bring a laptop if possible (a phone works, but a laptop is strongly recommended).
If you can, bring:
A current resume draft (even if it needs work)
Your LinkedIn login
One internship or job posting you are interested in, or a general career field you are targeting
