SEE Career Readiness Foundations Seminar
Congratulations! You and your employing department have been selected to participate in the Student Employee Enrichment (SEE) Program pilot, a new initiative from Career Exploration and Success (CES), designed to help Rutgers student employees connect their campus work experiences to long-term career success.
As part of the SEE pilot, you will attend one SEE Career Readiness Foundations Seminar, a paid professional development opportunity endorsed by your student employment supervisor.
During this interactive 2.5 hour session, you’ll:
- Discover how your campus job builds career readiness skills that employers value.
- Learn about the eight National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies and how they apply to your daily work.
- Identify and set a career readiness goal to guide your growth this semester.
- Create or update your LinkedIn profile to highlight your student employment experience.
- Practice your professional introduction and connect with fellow student employees from across campus.
By participating, you’ll gain tools to intentionally develop and articulate your career readiness, expand your professional network, and join a growing community of students transforming campus jobs into career confidence.
This seminar counts as paid work time and fulfills part of the SEE professional development commitment for your department.
