About the event

The next Peace Corps application deadline is August 15th for positions departing March 2027! Make your application stand out from the rest. Attend this workshop to learn how to browse Volunteer openings, find the right program, and strengthen your application. You will be guided step by step through the online application. Learn ways to improve your chances and ask questions about service.

Are you ready to be part of something bigger? Founded in 1961 with a bold vision, the Peace Corps brings together skilled, committed Volunteers with welcoming communities for service opportunities in more than 60 countries. We have diverse opportunities across six sectors: Agriculture, Community Economic Development, Education, Environment, Health, and Youth in Development.

As a Volunteer, you will live and work side-by-side with community members on locally prioritized projects, receiving a stipend and other support as you immerse yourself in a new experience — building relationships, exchanging cultures and knowledge, and helping transform lives for generations.

Do you believe in the power of human connection? Are you ready to serve boldly? We have a place where you belong.

Note from CES: Publication of opportunities with participating employers or guests is for informational purposes only and does not represent an endorsement of those organizations by Rutgers University.
