Want to know what it’s like starting your career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey?

In this session, Marie Padberg and Blair Ciesil will sit down with two Business Analysts from very different backgrounds who both found their place at the firm.

They’ll be joined by:

- Lauren Domfe, a Business Analyst in London and the strongest female powerlifter in Oxford Varsity history who studied Human, Social and Political Sciences and brings a perspective shaped by athletics, leadership, and social mobility.

- Ritvik Ramakrishnan, a Business Analyst based in Dallas who studied computer science and chose consulting as a way to apply his technical background across a wide range of industries and problems.

Together, they’ll share what it’s really like to start your career at McKinsey—from the variety of work Business Analysts get involved in to what new joiners can expect in their first months at the firm.

They’ll also discuss:

• What the BA role looks like day to day

 • How people from different academic and personal backgrounds find their place in consulting

 • What new joiners can expect in their first months

 • Advice for candidates considering applying

The session will be held on 23 March 2026 at 17:00pm CET // 12pm ET. Register by March 22. And in the meantime, catch up on past episodes here.
