Career Road Trips in Education, Law, Gov't and Social Impact: The County of Monmouth
Explore careers where the work actually happens. Join us for an employer site visit to The County of Monmouth, where you will hop on the bus and step into your future! During this trip, you will have the opportunity to explore career paths, see work environments firsthand, and connect with professionals in the field. All while translating your interests into real-world career possibilities through exposure, conversation, and insight.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Students exploring careers in law, government, social services, and public health. Career Road Trips are for Rutgers-New Brunswick students only.
SCHEDULE: Students must arrive at the Office of Career Exploration and Success, located in the Busch Student Center, at 11:30 am to check in, and the bus will depart at 12 pm. The site visit is scheduled from 1 - 4 pm and includes a panel of speakers from various county departments, including: Sheriff's Office, Hall of Records, Human Resources, Health Dept., Dept. of Human Services, and Public Information. The panel will be followed by several breakout sessions, during which students can meet with panelists in smaller groups in their areas of interest. The bus is expected to arrive back on campus around 5:30 pm. All students are required to travel to and from the event on the bus.
RECOMMENDED ATTIRE: Please bring as little as possible with you. It is encouraged to bring your resume, notebook, and pen. Acceptable attire for the visit is business casual; no t-shirts, shorts, or jeans. For questions, email joscott@rutgers.edu
COST: There will be a minimal charge of $5 payable upon registration for the event. No refunds will be granted once you register for the event.
