Student Information:

Discover opportunities to develop skills, gain experience, and contribute to the Rutgers community. Meet campus employers hiring for part-time positions across academic departments, offices, and programs.

    • Pre-registration is preferred to help us plan.

    • Walk-ins are welcome and students will not be turned away.

    • This event is open to all current Rutgers–New Brunswick students, all majors.

    All Rutgers–New Brunswick students are welcome.

    Employer registration is open — check back closer to the event for participating departments.

    • 9:15 AM — Student Check-In Begins

    • 9:30 AM — Fair Opens

    • 12:00 PM — Fair Concludes

  • This is a student-centered, on-campus hiring event. Come as you are. Professional or business attire is not required for this fair.

    Students are encouraged to present themselves respectfully, but we do not want clothing to be a barrier to participation.

Employer Information:

The On-Campus Job Fair connects Rutgers–New Brunswick students with campus departments and programs offering part-time and internship opportunities that help students discover, explore, and develop their career readiness skills.

    • Registration is now available via your Rutgers Handshake employer account

    • Registration Fee: $50 (includes one 6’×3’ table and two representatives)

    • Registration Deadline: January 12, 2026 (11:55 PM ET)

    • Full Refund Deadline: January 16, 2026 (9:00 AM ET)

    • Payment Deadline: February 20, 2026 (late fee +$20 after this date)

  • Rutgers Handshake is an online portal to manage all of your campus recruiting activities (e.g., posting positions, organizing interviews, registering for events, etc.) at Rutgers—New Brunswick. Some key features include:

    • Access to students—nearly 6,000 students log in weekly
    • Monthly student emails—registered students receive a digest of positions submitted as job type "On Campus Student Employment"
    • Machine learning algorithms—students receive new listings related to their areas of interest
    • Student alerts and notifications—students follow employer accounts and receive alerts

This year's event is coordinated by Taha Ali, Graduate Coordinator for Recruiting Initiatives and Operations within Career Exploration and Success, in collaboration with a planning committee composed primarily of CES Student Colleagues. Together, this team designed the fair to make finding an on-campus job welcoming, accessible, and focused on helping every Rutgers student take the next step in their Career Journey.

The SEE Program transforms on-campus employment into a meaningful career development experience. It equips supervisors with tools to help student employees connect their work to the NACE Career Readiness Competencies.

As part of the program, Career Exploration and Success hosts the On-Campus Job Fair to support student hiring across the university.
