On-Campus Work Experience Network (OWN) Program

_{As part of a financial aid package, students are invited to participate in the On-Campus Work Experience Network (OWN)—a unique and customized program that will supplement your Federal Work-Study job placement through interactive leadership workshops and designated mentoring.}

_{Those who participate will (1) attend an exclusive retreat program to build community with their cohort and a group of staff on campus who are all committed to their success at RU, (2) engage in regular check-ins with their work-site supervisor to discuss professional progress, (3) connect with their cohort throughout the first year via a series of workshops designed to support academic and professional development, and (4) have the opportunity to work additional hours (at least ten total hours per week) at their on-campus work-study placement site.}

_{Select admitted Rutgers University-New Brunswick students will be notified via email if they are eligible and will be offered an on-campus employment opportunity funded through the Federal Work-Study program as part of their financial aid package. OWN eligible students will receive a link to apply for this program during the summer before their first-year. Please Note: Interest is not a guarantee of participation in this program as the community is capped at a set number of participants.}
