Graduate Coordinator, Rutgers Scarlet Service Internship Program

I am pursuing my master's in biomedical sciences. I am passionate about student support, helping students feel seen and heard. Also, I enjoy giving back to the community the best I can. During my undergrad experience, I went to Rutgers-Camden, studying health science, and was a part of their Educational Opportunity Fund program (EOF). The program aided me in navigating my undergraduate experience as well as preparing me for life after college. After my Master’s, I would like to pursue a career in the medical field.

I advise students to step outside their comfort zone occasionally. There are a lot of opportunities and life-long experiences. It can be scary at first, but once you take that leap of faith, you will see it’s worth it. You get the chance to meet new people who may have similar goals and interests as you. Do not be afraid to stand out and be different from everyone else. There is only one you in this world, and that is your most extraordinary power.
