Director of Career Communities and Campus Partnerships
As the Director of Career Communities and Campus Partnerships, I oversee the career interest and career affinity group communities, expand campus partnerships, connect students with exploration and networking opportunities through alumni mentorship and engagement, and provide tailored programming and advising services. I directly manage the “Management, Operations, Human Resources, and Finance,” and the “Sales, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship” career communities as well.
I have been a member of the Career Exploration and Success team at Rutgers for over 20 years. Throughout my time here, I have had an array of liaison responsibilities and opportunities to advise and educate students at every level. I have a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in business and industry counseling, both from Kean University.
There is a career path that is right for you, and it's best to seek out one you will enjoy. Among the many ways to explore a career, mentoring relationships are one of the most informative ways to gain a wealth of understanding about careers and making an informed plan. Career Exploration and Success can help guide you towards alumni who are willing to mentor you.
