FIGS Graduate Coordinator

In my role as the FIGS Graduate Coordinator, I supervise and support our Peer Instructors and facilitate a section of our course on learning and teaching. In addition to working with FIGS, I am a full-time student in the PhD in Higher Education Program. My research interests are focused on the intersections of learning and identity among first-year college students. I got my start working in higher education in 2013, holding various roles within the First-Year Experience Program at California State University, Chico where I worked until 2020 when I came to Rutgers. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies with a dual emphasis on Health Communication and Instructional Communication.
