Amita Kulkarni

As a Graduate Coordinator for First Year Career Engagement I support the development of the First Year Interest Group Seminar (FIGS) Program. I assist in various administrative aspects of the program, including monitoring attendance and reviewing lesson plans,  I also help create training resources and materials for the PI Education program to better prepare PIs for being effective instructors and mentors for their students. Additionally, I partake in the interview and evaluation process of candidates to aid in the selection of the next cohort of Peer Instructors. Apart from working with FIGS, I am a full time student in the Chemistry & Chemical Biology Masters program at Rutgers, with a focus on Biophysical Chemistry.
