Are you the type of person who is very creative, or has a knack for analyzing, problem solving and thinking quickly on your feet? Do your friends describe you as innovative? If so, it sounds like you have what it takes to have a promising career in the fast-paced and budding field of Communication and Media! In order to break into these fascinating careers, it’s not just about what you know, but often who you know!

About the Road to Communication & Media (RTCM) Program:

Modeled after our successful Road to Wall Street program–where 96% of participants who graduated in 2015 obtained post-graduation employment success–this multi-year program is designed to help you explore career pathways within the field while connecting you with alumni mentors who can help you learn the tricks to breaking into the industry. Through this high-impact program, students will map a path through the competitive world of communication and media where opportunities exist in diverse areas, including:

  • Content Creation and Editing
  • Digital Marketing (Social Media)
  • Media and Advertising Sales
  • Media Production
  • Public and Corporate Relations
  • Web and Graphic Design

Road to Communication & Media (RTCM) Program Highlights:

The RTCM boasts a three-phased program, consisting of destinations which are designed to give students the competitive edge in their journey into a career within Communication and Media.

Students participate in a variety of exploration events and resources to learn about the various facets of the field.  Participation in these events and resources counts towards admission into the competitive mentoring program. Think of your participation as collecting stamps in your passport as you travel the Road to Communication and Media. The more stamps you receive, the more well-traveled you will be!

Begin filling your passport with stamps at our upcoming events! Click on the event below to view information and register. Because seating is limited at some events, we encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible.

Stamps provide students with extra admissions points to the competitive RTCM mentoring program.
