RU LinkedIn or Left Out: Working Your Network for Student Employees and Leaders

This how-to session will equip Rutgers Student Employees and Student Organization Leaders on the best practices for LinkedIn profile optimization. Starting with high-level must-haves for a LinkedIn page (professional photo, summary, work/internship experiences, and club affiliations), the session will delve into what kind of descriptive bullets to write for on-campus jobs or student organization experiences. A guide to networking will teach students to professionally approach Rutgers alums or other industry experts. Finally, some do's, and dont's for LinkedIn will finish off the program.
