Career Education & Engagement

As the Associate Director for Career Education, I oversee curricular initiatives including the credit-based, Rutgers Internship and Co-op Program which is co-sponsored by the School of Arts & Sciences. I also focus on incorporating learning outcomes into career development programming and engaging first and second year students with career based programming to help them become internship ready by junior year.

I have a background of working with various industries and majors through my prior work experience in Career Services at Seton Hall University and the Fashion Institute of Technology. I began my career in higher education working in residence life at Kean University, William Paterson University and The College of Saint Elizabeth.

I attended Vanderbilt University for 2 years and then completed my Bachelors Degree at Rutgers with a double major in Anthropology and Communication. I completed her Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration at NYU.

When it comes to major, there is no wrong answer. Pick what you enjoy studying and make sure to get involved and build experience so you can build your resume and explore career options.
