Associate Director for Alumni–Student Engagement
Career Education & Engagement

I am the Associate Director for Alumni-Student Engagement at University Career Services. In this role, I work to involve Rutgers alumni who represent various professional fields in programmatic initiatives. Their involvement serves to help educate and inform our students about the world of work.

I have been a member of the University Career Services team at Rutgers for over 15 years. Throughout my time here, I have had an array of liaison responsibilities and opportunities to advise and educate students at every level. Currently, I enjoy managing mentoring events and platforms, whether they foster in-person or via electronic connections, which serve to connect students with volunteering alumni mentors. All throughout, I have enjoyed developing strong relationships between students, faculty, and alumni.

I have a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in business and industry counseling, both from Kean University.

There is a career path that is right for you, and it's best to seek out one you will enjoy. Among the many ways to explore a career, mentoring relationships are one of the most informative ways to gain a wealth of understanding about careers and making an informed plan. University Career Services can help guide you towards alumni who are willing to mentor you.
