Writing a Resume for the U.S. Employer (International Students Only)

Learn how to find job opportunities that interest you and how you can successfully stand out from the competition as an international student. Attend this workshop and we'll teach you the following in just one hour: • Differences between Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Resume. • How to write a U.S. resume/cover letter • Purpose of each document and how to create a professional resume that reflects student's skills and qualifications. • Design a resume that will resonate with employers • Introduce international students to the US Job Search and discuss the overall process. Briefly discuss visa requirements/restrictions for working in the US.

WHAT YOU NEED: Get the most out of this interactive workshop by bringing a laptop or tablet. If you don't have either, a smartphone will suffice.
