Field Trip: Bohler Engineering (Campus-to-Careers)

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Students exploring careers in civil engineering.

OPEN POSITIONS: Jr. Design Engineer – Recent Grads • AutoCAD Civil 3D design/drafting for the preparation of site plans and conceptual layouts • CAD support for the design staff • Preparation of color renderings and other design related exhibits • Commercial site and subdivision • Grading • Storm water management • Utility design • Regulatory permitting • Zoning review • Site visits • Meetings with municipal professionals • Other duties as assigned

Design Engineer Intern & Co-ops • Jurisdictional reviews • Site investigation and due diligence • Grading design • Stormwater management • Utility system design • Soil erosion and sediment control design • Project Communication & Coordination • Other duties as assigned

SCHEDULE: Participants need to arrive at the Busch Student Center, University Career Services Office by 12:50PM to check-in; the bus will depart at 1:10PM; the site visit is scheduled from 2:00PM – 4:00PM and includes a tour, information session, and networking panel. The bus is expected to return to campus around 5:00PM.

RECOMMENDED ATTIRE: Please bring as little as possible with you. We will provide all participants with a pen and portfolio for you to take notes.
