Explore the possibilities through the new Campus-to-Careers Student Field Trip Series coordinated by University Career Services! During this trip, you will learn about various opportunities and network with professionals at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Students exploring museum or non-profit careers. Also, student interested in internship opportunities at the museum in the following departments: Administration, Advancement, Communications, Curatorial, Digital Media, Education, Graphic Design, Marketing, Publications, Rights & Reproductions, Research Resources, and Visitor Experience. For more information, visit: http://whitney.org/About/Internships. This trip is for ALL MAJORS. Preference given to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students must have a minimum of two years academic experience to qualify for internships.
SCHEDULE: Participants need to arrive at the Busch Campus Center – Room 116ABC by 10:45AM to check-in and receive a boxed lunch; the bus will depart at 11:15AM; the site visit is scheduled from 12:30PM – 4:00PM. The bus is expected to return to campus by 5:30PM.
RECOMMENDED ATTIRE: Please bring as little as possible with you. We will provide all participants with a pen and portfolio for you to take notes.
